The hard disk drive stores data even after the computer is turned off. Laptops typically spin at 5400 RPM (Revolutions Per Minute) or 7200 RPM, although some server-based platters are capable of spinning up to 15,000 RPM (Revolutions Per Minute).

The primary feature of a hard drive is its capacity and functionality. The main advantage of an HDD is that it can store a large amount of data.

Nowadays, 1TB (Terabyte-1,024 Gigabyte) storage is very normal for a laptop hard drive, and this space can be used easily.

It has no disk or moving part but instead has a microchip in which the information is stored. SSDs are commonly called NAND-based flash memory. What are HDD and SSD: It is a non-volatile type of memory.

Solid-state drives cost a lot more than hard disks, so it hasn’t reached everyone yet. Computers using Solid State Drive take only 10-15 seconds to start, while computers using Hard Disk Drive take about 1 minute to start.

This SDD is much thinner and thinner in size than the hard disk, so you can use the SDD to get faster performance if you don’t have money problems.
